Events Cancelled for Friday, Dec. 1st

ANNOUNCEMENT: Christmas on the Court Square is CANCELLED for Friday, December 2nd.

For the safety of our community, mules and carriages, and staff, the Christmas on the Court Square events scheduled for Friday, December 2nd, have been cancelled. Please know that our staff does not make this decision lightly, and we are committed to bringing safe, enjoyable events to Uptown Shelby.

We've been monitoring the weather this week, and unfortunately, the likelihood of rain has not decreased as storms continue moving toward the East Coast overnight and into tomorrow.

According to AccuWeather, we're expecting an over 91% chance of rain, coupled with 99% cloud cover. Our carriages and mules are not equipped for inclement weather, therefore the decision to cancel has been made. Those who have purchased tickets to ride in the Cinderella Carriage will receive refunds.

We hope you will plan to join us for Christmas on the Court Square on Friday, December 8th and Friday, December 15th when regularly scheduled activities will resume. We appreciate your understanding, and invite you to call, email or message us with any questions.
