Seeds to Silverware
Farm-to-Table Dinner Spotlights All Things Local
The Uptown Shelby Association is collaborating with local chefs, farmers and business owners to hosts a farm-to-table dinner on the square in Shelby's Historic Uptown District each fall. The dinner, called Seeds to Silverware, is located under the twinkling lights of the City Pavilion at 126 W. Marion St.
The menu for the evening highlights many of the wonderful ingredients that are currently at the peak of freshness in Western North Carolina.

The Uptown Shelby Association operates the Main Street program in Shelby, N.C. It was one of the first five Main Street Associations in North Carolina and part of the pilot program launched by the National Trust for Historic Preservation in 1980. The organization receives no state funding, so events like Seeds to Silverware help fund its important work.
